The founders who planted the dream — building Turkey Toe on a foundation of Western heritage, family values, and a love for the land.

Greg and Judy Gebben are the heart and soul behind Turkey Toe. What started as a vision for a family retreat in the Wet Mountain Valley has grown into something far greater — a place where the spirit of the Old West lives on and new traditions are born.
Their commitment to family, community, and preserving Western heritage runs through everything at Turkey Toe. From the ranch's original structures to the gathering spaces where stories are shared, the Gebbens have created a legacy that will span generations.
One of Turkey Toe's most treasured features is Greg Gebben's curated Western library collection. Authentic Old West volumes, vintage ranch memorabilia, and classic cowboy literature fill the shelves throughout the club house and gathering spaces.
Every book tells a story. Every artifact carries history. The library creates an atmosphere where guests can immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the American West while relaxing after a round of Wanch golf.

The Gebbens saw something special in these 59 acres of Colorado high country — not just beautiful land, but an opportunity to create something meaningful. A place where families could strengthen bonds, where friendships could deepen, and where the timeless values of the West could be passed down.
Today, that vision is coming to life. With the help of the AOC Master Facilitators and a growing community of like-minded builders and dreamers, Turkey Toe is becoming everything Greg and Judy imagined — and more.
“A place to strengthen families and friendships, have as much fun as possible, and maintain the spirit of the Old West.”
